Growing with its clientele…

Mr. Yves Poulin founded Usinage Laurentides in August 1991 in Ville des Laurentides.  Starting out as a tooling manufacturer, the company quickly turns to sheet metal transformation to better service its clientele.

In fact, adjusting to customers’ requests triggers the purchase of specialized machinery in 1995. Strong growth naturally brings a wider range services and Usinage Laurentides obtains all related certifications to perform high precision welding and machining activities. Steady growth also means the need for more space! In 1998, Usinage Laurentides moves into a new 30 000 sq ft building in Mascouche.

Visionary and innovative, the corporation spends the following years improving itself in every possible way, perfecting its management, administrative and production techniques in accordance to ISO 9001:2000 standards as well as Value Added Production processes, both aiming at one goal: clientele’s satisfaction.

Only one year after obtaining the Value-added Production certification, Usinage Laurentides receives the “VAP - Silver distinction” awarded by AMETVS.

As for tomorrow, it is full of promises, new technologies and even more clever designs!
